Not long after that shot, the moon became completely covered by the fog as she got closer to the Coit tower. Besides, the police came after the few people who were on the pier, including me, to close it. So that's about as close as I could see the moon to the tower, that (super moon) night.

In case you didn't like the foreground in my previous post, here's a slightly more immersive version of this  fantastic sunset at Bryce point.

At Bryce point, you've almost got 360° of awesome views. I was so excited to finally see some clouds after a mostly clear day, that I kept shooting in all directions. As is often the case, I got the best colors in the sky after the sun had set. Most of the few other people who came that day had gone by that time.
